Building a Better D2C

By:

Every year, ERA invites members to Las Vegas for the D2C Convention. And every year, we like to think, D2C gets just a little bit better.

ERA’s signature event is the place for members of the direct response community to meet, network, and investigate the new products, solutions, and strategies they can use to build brands and profits in the years to come.

When you arrive at this year’s show, set for Oct. 2–5, 2017, at the Wynn Las Vegas, you’ll notice a few subtle changes. First, the exhibit hall will be consolidated into a single ballroom, making it easy for exhibitors to meet with their partners—and potential partners—in a single place.

Educational sessions will move from the busy show floor to separate rooms. The more intimate spaces will make it easy to learn and discuss the latest trends in DRTV, retail, regulation, and digital commerce; winning strategies for product development, promotion, distribution, and customer service; and practices that have proved effective in increasing sales and creating engagement.

Finally, the Moxie Awards Gala will be moved to the first full day of the show, Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017. The star-studded banquet is a must for DR marketers and creative agencies, and celebrating the year’s best campaigns at the show’s outset will help build buzz for the many talented Moxie nominees in attendance.

While the full seminar schedule is still being finalized, ERA is pleased to announce that two speakers from the 2017 Great Ideas Summit will appear at D2C this year to build upon the concepts they presented in Puerto Rico. Dean Graziosi and Frank Kern are experts in building brands through digital and social media, and they will share some of the secrets to their success.

Like every year, D2C will offer ample opportunities to socialize with colleagues with cocktail hours, networking luncheons, and other events designed to allow patrons to kick back and have fun—even as they close deals.

We’re tinkering with the D2C formula ever so slightly to produce a vibrant, exciting show that offers incredible value to today’s busiest omnichannel marketers. Make plans now to join us in Las Vegas by visiting d2c.retailing.org. You’ll be glad you did.
