Dan Zifkin, a 30-year veteran of DR and the founder of Zephyr Media Group, has launched a new network that specializes in quality entertainment programming from around the world. Named Vibrant TV, the network offers international DRTV marketers a new venue for the dissemination of marketing content in segments such as travel, food, fashion, and fitness.
Vibrant TV streams online at vibrant.tv, on smartphones via a dedicated app, and on smart TVs. The channel is available on digital platforms including Roku, Sling, and Amazon Fire in the United States, as well as a growing number of broadcast and satellite channels. “We’re right there on the cusp with where the viewers are,” Zifkin says. “We have over-the-top (OTT) content, an app, broadcast, digital, and cable.”
Programming includes reality shows such as the popular antiques and collectibles shows Natural Born Dealers and Cash in the Attic; dramas such as Good & Evil and Redfern Now; and travel and food shows such as Intrepid Journeys and Avventura. Like many 24-hour networks, Vibrant TV offers spots during programming as well as long-form paid programming slots overnight seven days a week.
“You’ve probably traveled overseas at some point, turned on the TV, and watched something you’ve never seen before,” Zifkin says. “Most of our programs are award-winning shows in their native countries. Vibrant TV appeals to a variety of different people and interests; it’s the kind of thing anyone can enjoy. Whatever it is, we have great place to place your product.”
