He graduated in law at the University of Navarra in 1987. In 1992, he obtained his Ph.D. Between 1989 and 1995, he taught private international law at the Universities of Navarra and Barcelona, and at the University-College Abat Oliva.

She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Berlin Conference "A Soul for Europe," and a member of the Union of Bulgarian Jurists. Kuneva attended law school from August 1999 to March 2000 at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. In 1984, she earned a Ph.D. in environmental law from Sofia University in Bulgaria.

He has been involved with QVC UK since January 2004 when he was brought in to start up and manage the QVC UK in-house legal department.
